Our transportation team can meet the rider at the door, walk with them to the vehicle, assist with light belongings, open doors, and accompany them inside approved destinations such as medical offices, grocery stores, pharmacies, churches, family gatherings, and community events.

What Door-Through-Door Support Can Include
- Door-through-door transportation means we do more than pull up to the curb.
- Depending on the trip and service arrangement, WG Care Transit may provide light, non-medical assistance such as:
- Walking with the rider from the home to the vehicle
- Opening doors and assisting with light belongings
- Walking with the rider into medical offices, stores, churches, family events, or other approved destinations
- Helping locate the correct entrance, lobby, suite, or check-in area
- Remaining nearby or on-site during wait-and-return service when scheduled
- Walking with the rider back to the vehicle after the appointment or outing
- Making sure the rider gets safely back inside the home at the end of the trip
This is transportation support, not medical care or personal care. WG Care Transit does not provide lifting, carrying, physical transfers, toileting assistance, bathing, dressing, feeding, medication management, medical monitoring, emergency transportation, wheelchair lift service, or stretcher service.

For scheduled wait-and-return service, our transportation team can remain nearby or on-site depending on the appointment details. When the appointment is complete, the rider has a scheduled return ride ready without the stress of waiting outside or arranging another pickup.
We can also walk with the rider into the medical office, help locate the correct entrance or check-in area, and provide light, non-medical assistance where appropriate.

We Review the Details

Door-Through-Door Pickup
The transportation team arrives at the scheduled time, meets the rider at the door, assists with light belongings, and walks with the rider to the vehicle.
Attentive Transportation
The rider receives calm, professional transportation in a clean executive vehicle, with patient support throughout the trip.
Destination Support
When appropriate, our transportation team can accompany the rider inside the destination, help locate the correct entrance or check-in area, and remain nearby or on-site during scheduled wait-and-return service.
Safe Return
After the appointment or outing, we provide return transportation and walk with the rider back to the home, making sure they are safely inside before concluding the service.
